Negotiation Update 5/10/2024

Your negotiation committee representing IAM sites throughout USA met this week with UPS to begin the bargaining process on our IAM/UPS National Agreement. We began the process for a new collective bargaining agreement covering wages, hours, and working conditions.

The IAM national bargaining committee propose full comprehensive proposals to the company and your committee spoke with confidence regarding issues to contain. We made proposals for improvements for both economic and non-economic articles of the Master Agreement.

There have been many tentative agreements made this week on small substance changes and original language articles, these are important but do not rise to the same level of concern as Wages, Pension and Healthcare.

We did not conclude negotiations this week and will set up future dates. Please see attachment from international for more information.

We have received many inquiries as to when and how we will be voting on the contract. At this time, we have not yet received a last, best, and final offer from the company. When the committee receives the final offer, will have a summary all the changes on our web site as soon as possible.

Once we have received this final offer from the company, we will schedule a Vote and schedule meeting time and places.

In solidarity, your bargaining committee
